The AKG 10D431K Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) is a radial lead, through-hole surge protection component designed to help protect electronic circuits from sudden voltage spikes and transient overvoltage. With a nominal varistor voltage of 430V and a 275V AC maximum continuous operating voltage, it is suitable for use in appropriate AC power and electronic protection circuits.

The 10 mm disc-style construction provides a compact and convenient solution for PCB assembly, repair and replacement applications. The radial leads make it easy to install by soldering directly onto through-hole PCBs. This MOV can be used in power supplies, adapters, appliances, control circuits, electronic equipment and DIY electronics projects where transient voltage protection is required.
